Heuristic Industries

Today Eric, from Heuristic Industries is under the microscope!

Q: What was your first encounter with guitar and/or pedals?
A: I got a digitech multi effect in high school to use with my Fender Frontman! One of those RP series ones.
Q: When did you start getting into building?
A: I built a BYOC kit in college (tonebender mkii) then picked it back up in 2019 as I got more and more curious about various common dirt circuits and how they worked
Q: When did you design your first pedal?
A: I had studied EE in college but hadn’t touched it since, with all the new free time during the pandemic I studied back up and spent a lot of time with breadboards trying to bring some ideas I had to life! The rest is history.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: Software engineering

Q: Any long term goals?

A: Finally shipping a few long-running projects. Ultimately I want to focus on the engineering side and do mostly contract work for other builders!
Q: Any other hobbies besides music?
A: Rock climbing, hiking, camping, anything outside honesty
Q: Pets?
A: Frankie and Comet, our two poodle-ish dogs
